Guild Intro
The Revenant has been together since 2006, and many of our members have been playing together since before WoW. We believe in putting our guild community ahead of our progress as a raiding guild. We are not as interested in how well you play your class or how many epics you have, but rather we focus on who you are, what you are like to hang out with, and how easy-going you are.
We are a casual learning to raid guild. We are mature players, mostly adults, who understand that real-life concerns outweigh game progression. However we can still progress and forge ahead
We are fun, and relaxed, but we are also good players who know our classes and specs, and are driven to beat raid content. We benefit from having players in our guild who have 25-toon raiding experience.
Just as the guild is expected to be loyal to you, you are expected to be loyal to the guild. We have started raiding on a casual basis. However, we cannot do this, if members leave us instead of working with us to get there.
The Revenant is a guild that is primarily about having fun. We do intend to be a casual raiding guild, but our primary goals are to be friendly, fun, helpful, and most of all, HAVE FUN!
Your skills can be taught.
Your gear can be obtained.
Your attitude we're stuck with.
Guild Attitude
One of out top priorities is maintaining the attitude of the guild as a whole. We are a family here, we all know each other, we have made it through this transition together, and we understand each other. One thing that we do not need making it's way into our family is a bad attitude towards other players.
Put having respect and a good attitude towards your fellow guild mates/officers a top priority as we move forward. Helping and encouraging each other is an important part of who we are. If you have a concern, bring it up to the person privately and respectfully. No one enjoys drama and it often reflects poorly on the person who is initiating it. Officers make themselves available to listen to guildie's thoughts and ideas. Remember to make use of them as a resource. We plan to keep The Revenant a good, friendly guild where we can hang out, relax, and raid together.
The application is the start of us getting to know you. We want to get to know you. We want to know what kind of gamer you are, what kind of person you are, and what your interests and experiences are, and not just in WoW. Be yourself! An officer will contact you in-game to chat in a sort of informal interview. We're looking to meet new players and make new friends, not recruit the hardest of the hardcore. Keep that in mind as you fill out your app. Also, note that we are literate and hope you are too.
