The reason you think the Warhammer trailer is so much better is because its a CINEMATIC preview... its 3d modeled and rendered for eyecandy enjoyment, on the other hand, Blizz decided to use actual gameplay for the WotLK expansion trailer.. which I actually appreciate more than cheesy cinematics.

Yeah that trailer might be based off the gameplay there might be a different cinematic just like there was for World of Warcraft and The Burning Crusade. Don't see why they would make an actually ingame play cinematic for the opening of the Expansion that is just... unheard of.
Edit: Oh no!! I thought it was actually in game stuff on the Wotlk Cinematic... dang I was saving that for when it came out. But wow that was an awesome cinematic for Warhammer. Though personally due to the fact that I am a big fan of the Warcraft Lore the WoTLK Cinematic owns. Arthas looks wicked and that huge ass Undead Dragon totally rocked!

You might say that I'm the last man standing now, even though you try you will never find a way to BREAK ME
the first trailer highlights some of thier classes and the 2nd does the rest plus the Chaos King at the end. I've been in Beta for a couple weeks and Open coming up in 2 more weeks, i also have the headstart invite going on. BTW your gonna almost need a super-comp to run it.

Something that I just realized I don't like about the Warcraft Trailer is that they imply that Price Arthas was born as the Lich King. That is not so.
Kil'jaeden was betrayed by an Orc Shaman called Ner'zhul. To punish him, Kil'jaeden destroyed his body and entrapped his soul in "a specially crafted block of diamond-hard ice gathered from the far reaches of the Twisting Nether." When that happened, Ner'zhul's soul became corrupt and extremely powerful and became the Lich King.
Prince Arthas became one of the original and greatest Death Knights, lead by the Lich King. Kil'jaeden, realizing how strong Ner'zhul (the Lich King) had become, ordered Illidan to destroy him. Illidan only succeeded in severely damaging the throne of the Lich King, and retreated to the Outland to avoid repercussion from Kil'jaeden for failing.
Arthas shattered the Lich King's throne, releasing Ner'zhul's enchanted helm and breastplate. Arthas put on the new armor and became the new Lich King.
Ner'zhul and Arthas' spirits fused into a single being, becoming the Lich King that we so anxiously await to meet in the upcoming expansion.
Sorry for going off on a story telling tangent, lol, but it just bothers me that they have this incredible and intricate story line for Warcraft, and then in the trailer they are misleading. *shrug*

What I wrote was a very brief outline of the story. There is so much more than that! You should read it sometime, there are many interesting things that you find out...
like, did you know that the Arch Druid Malfurion and Illidan are brothers?

Nah. I just read the story line that is on the World of Warcraft website.
AND I realized something about my little rant.
Anyone who played...Warcraft 3? I think it was will know what I am talking about.
The dialog that is in the trailer is actually Prince Arthas's father, speaking to him a LONG time ago. The Dialog is word for word a speech from a scene from a previous Warcraft. They just paired it up with the Lich King awakening. Actually really well done now that I realize what it was that they were doing.
Still coulda been better though *shrug*
