Raid Requirements
View Version History

These requirement apply only to people whom would like to raid. These are not requirements for the whole guild. These requirements are meant to help ensure the success of a raid, and are in no way meant to discriminate against anyone who wants to raid, but rather give those people who fall a little short goals to shoot for.

Expected Behavior

A Great post my by our own Melukycharms talks about Stepping into a raid. If you have a minute, check it out.

All players in "The Revenant" raids, are expected to abide by the following:

*All raid members are expected to "Stick it out" until the raid is finished unless you have informed the Raid Leader in advance that this is not possible. Inform the Raid Leader(s) before invites are finished if there is a specific time you will need to leave. Understand that if this time is particularly inconvenient for the raid, this may cause you to not be invited. Standard raid end time is 1030server.

* Never go AFK without informing the raid or the raid leader, except in the case of dire emergency. Going AFK without warning is grounds for replacement. (Emergencies should be at least dire enough that you do not mind being replaced.)

* Inform the raid or leader of any stability, connection, or addon problems as soon as you are aware of them. Understand this may prevent you from being invited.

* Arrive on time to raids. "On time" means at the time the raid invites start. Players who are online at the raid invite start time take priority over those who are not.

* If you are going to be slightly late, inform a raid leader or officer. We may or may not wait, but it increases your shots.

* We are not lunaris, we dont expect you to know every fight. If you dont know whats going on, ASK BEFORE the fight starts, especially if we didnt explain clearly enough.

* Suggestions are welcome. Orders are to be given only by the raid leader or delegates. The raid leader may request that suggestions be given in raid chat or privately to keep voice chat clear or that suggestions/comments be put "on hold" until later to expedite the raid.

Coming Prepared:

Bring your shit. Casters should attend a raid with 10 mana pots, tanks and melee with 10 health pots. Bring your own food for buffs, bring your own food if we dont have a mage. Bring reagents.

Requirements to enter a raid:

You do not have to meet these to enter. Class balance is the uppermost priority.
Following that, players who meet requirements and are of the designated team for the night (red or blue) will be invited. then players who meet the requirements that are not on the team. While you can still attend without meeting the requirements, but you will be picked last.

If you do not meet these requirements un-buffed, but you do with the use of elixers/party buffs/food buffs, you may inform the RL of such, and remember that you will then be required to carry enough consumables on you to maintain the requirements for the duration of the raid.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ULDUAR PRIORITY:

DPS PLEASE NOTE: A Blanket Requirement for all raiders is to be able to maintain 2.5k dps given a 10m raid environment. if you reach these requirements but do NOT maintain those numbers during normal single-target only dps, you may lose priority. That said, there are plenty of class advisors, officers and guildies who will be availible to assist you in rotation, spec, and play stratagies.

this has been your dont come to the raid spec'd like a murlock message.
