Invite Procedures * All raid events will be posted on the in-game calendar (which can also be viewed through your armory page). If you intend on attending an event, you will need to have signed up and been approved via the calandar. If you don't see the event or haven't been "invited" in the calendar, please speak to a RL to get your name included on the list. It's a technicality. * The Event Details in the calendar will specify the start time and the priority invite group. * Attempts will be made for the RL to update Approval/Waitlist status of signed-up toons daily based on weekly invite group priority. Note: Class balance is always considered before other factors for raid spots. The Event Night Procedure- 30 mins prior to First Pull:
- The RL will invite everyone who signed-up on the calendar and is IN GAME on time.
- All Raiders are expected to be at the Raid Instance entrance, fully repaired with any consumables needed for the evening, no later than 10 minutes prior to scheduled Raid start so start getting your butt over there. Don't count on getting summons. If you signed up for the raid but are not at the instance and ready to fight 10 minutes before first pull, you surrender your invite priority.
- Note: If you aren't in-game 10 minutes before first pull, you are LATE. However, if the sign up note (or a later comment, or a whisper passed on before the raid to the raid leader) indicates the person will be late for invites, but on time for the raid, they are considered "on time". If you are late, you lose your invite priority.
- 10 mins prior to First Pull:
- Players who have been Waitlisted and are IN GAME will now be invited to fill available slots.
- Following this, if there are more than three spots available at this time, the raid will be called.
- If there are less than three spots available, the RL will announce in guild chat what slots are still available and ask players to pst for an invite. Those players must still meet minimum raid requirements for that instance. PUGs (anyone not carrying a guild tag) will also be considered here.
- Event Start Time/First Pull Time:
Well, two possibilities here. Either...- Awesome! Full/prepared group! /charge!
- OR if there is not a full raid at this time (all 10 for 10-player or minimum of 22 for 25-player, THE RAID WILL BE CANCELED PROMPTLY AT THE SCHEDULED START TIME and the option of running a heroic or two will be discussed. We will NOT pst random guildies to try to drag them along. If people don't sign up or respond to the guild chat announcement about openings the RL WILL NOT scrounge to round out the group.
* Receiving an invite to a raid does not guarantee a raid spot if you aren't prepared or in-zone on time. * Anyone who does not have a raid spot when the raid commences can opt to be put on the sub list in the event that someone needs to drop. If you didn't get an invite and are wondering why, this is a great post by our dear Panda that helps explain what may have happened (with concrete examples and color coding even!).
